In my darkest hour, I made a promise to my son JT: his light would never stop shining. This is how I keep that promise, and how I help families like mine find hope in unimaginable loss.
When you lose someone to organ donation, you experience profound grief alongside the miracle of lives saved. You need support. You need remembrance. You need to know your hero will never be forgotten.
I created The Gift Beyond to be what I wished existed when I lost JT. A place where life-giving heroes are honored with dignity, where families find compassionate support, and where recipients can honor the gift they received.
My Promise to JT
JT (Johnathan) is my son. Our family's first life-giving hero.
Brave. Courageous. Full of life and love. He made the selfless decision to become an organ donor, and when that moment came (far too soon), his gift saved multiple lives.

We honor life-giving heroes through digital tributes, support grieving families with Life-Giving Hero Kits, give recipients a meaningful way to honor their donors, and raise awareness that saves lives.

I'm not just preserving memories. I'm keeping a promise. This is JT's legacy. And now, it's yours too.
